HI FRIENDS!
Sorry for screaming at ya, I’m just a teensy-bit excited for the change in season. As many of you know, I’m not a fan of summer whatsoever. It’s too hot and oftentimes a very lazy time for me. My absolute favorite time of the year (& quite honestly where I thrive the most) is fall!!
The air is crisp; the leaves are turning; the landscape is full of vibrant shades of orange, red, yellow and green; It’s gloomy, even when it doesn’t rain; There’s a nice little breeze; the coffee is sweeter; Crunch. Crunch. Sheer tights; knit sweaters; knee high socks; ankle & thigh high boots; browns; burgundy; wine; thick scarves; flannels; candy corn. HELLO FALL🍂
The coziest season of them all! Something about this Autumn feels different, like there’s a charge in the air energizing us to be the best version of ourselves. My entire Pinterest and Tik Tok are full of Autumn content and it inspired me to create a vision board (& accompanying list) of what I hope this fall encompasses.
Bucket List!
Between work and law school prep, I’m completely swamped and have limited moments to myself. Below are some fun, cozy activities I want to enjoy during my free time while possibly enjoying a glass of my favorite wine.
Apple picking
Pumpkin patch
Pumpkin painting
I also want to schedule some paint & sips! I went recently with my friends and it was so serene.
Blanket knitting
I’ve been wanting to knit & crochet as a hobby for the past several months now and this season feels like as good a time as any.
Haunted house
Knit a scarf
Crochet
Make soup
I’ve been looking for a couple easy recipes on Pinterest and came across a couple that look delicious! I’ll be sharing my favorite ones with you in the upcoming weeks.
Complete a 1000 piece puzzle
Not sure which one to do yet. But, at the moment, this one and this one are catching my eye.
Handwritten letters to friends
Spooky pizza night
Baking
Growing up baking with my mom was always my favorite thing to do in the weekends. I want to make some fall treats and dishes during my free time to really embrace the season ahead. Here are some that are currently on my list:
apple turnover
Lasagna
Pumpkin chocolate chip muffins
Cinnamon rolls

Only Murders In The Building: One of my favorite shows from the past two years. I love me a good true crime podcast and it doesn’t get any better than the back to back murders at The Arconia.
Vampire Diaries: watched this for the first time in college and stopped on season 5. I love this show so much!!! Since I can’t remember which episode of season 5 I stopped on, I’m going to start ALL OVER.
Fall Hopefuls!
I’m not a TBR girl AT. ALL. But, there’s a couple books on my radar that I’m hoping to pick up this chilly season:
Key: By clicking on the title, you’ll be directed to Goodreads where you can read what this story is about. I also have them available in my storefront. Throughout the season I’ll be adding even more books, so make sure to come back for more awesome Fall reads!
Covet & Court (#3&4 of the Crave series) by Tracy Wolff: I adore this series but I’ve been lacking on finishing it up. I’m currently 25% into Covet. Theres vampires, romance, mystery and boarding schools— it doesn’t get much better than that for Autumn.
Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer: I’m buddy-reading Twilight with my friend this year and we’re up to book three (& by “we’re” I mean I’m still finishing up New Moon while she waits on me😅)
The Ex Hex by Rachel Hawkins
You, Again by Kate Goldbeck
I Feed Her to the Beast & The Beast is Me by Jamison Shea
The Chalk Man by C.J Tudor
The Fall of Bradley Reed by Morgan Elizabeth (this is book 3 in the Seasons Revenge series. I haven’t read the other two but this one peeked my interest)
Their Vicious Games by Joelle Wellington
There’s No Way I’d Die First by Lisa Springer
Coffee Break by Navy Winters
Rustic Hearts by Amber Kelly
Crystal Dark by Julie L. Kramer
Untouchable by Shon
A Lesson in Vengeance by Victoria Lee
“Fall has always been my favorite season. The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale.” – Lauren DeStefano
It breaks my heart that Fall flies by as quick as the wind. I wish I could slow down the clock and savor every second of this amazing period in time, but even if I don’t conjure up some witchy magic in the next couple of weeks, I’m wishing us all a safe, cozy & happy Fall. I’m curious to see what you guys are up to this fall. Feel free to leave a comment (or respond to this email) with your Fall list!
With love & a cup of coffee,
